These stylish, uniquely designed, high quality, heavy-weight tablemats are manufactured with a sustainably sourced Eucalyptus board base, as opposed to a powdered melamine formula. They have a full melamine surface; Melamine is an extremely durable product, able to withstand temperatures of up to 145 degrees; it is easily wiped clean (no dishwashers please!), and with very little care will give you many years of service.
All the melamine coasters and tablemats are backed with navy blue baize which adds style to the mats and can help protect glass-topped or other highly polished tables and surfaces. Placemat weights 335g (that is approximately 12 oz).
These Square Melamine Placemats designs are taken from my original acrylic painting of the same name. They have a high gloss finish surface to the top and navy blue baise to the reverse to make them non slip. They make a bold, unique, artistic statement and are available in 6 different designs to suit your space. It is possible to mix and match or pick several of the same design.
"Estonian Cornflower field" was painted in 2016, the original is NFS size 70cm square. Prints, cushions and cards are available as well as the placemats too if you'd like a coordinated look.
Placemat size is approximately 24cm/ approx 9.5 inches square with rounded corners. They are approximately 5 mm thick.
